Did you ever hear of a part-time husband? 

No!  All husbands (who are real husbands) are full time.

 

He is not talking to her all the time

He is not with her all the time

He is not even thinking of her all the time

 

But he is directly or indirectly loving, providing, and fellowshipping in everyday walk.

His job, his car, his hobbies, his friends do not keep her from his thoughts and ultimate presence.

The Lord my pasture shall prepare,
And feed me with a shepherd`s care;
His presence shall my wants supply,
And guard me with a watchful eye;
My noonday walks He shall attend,
And all my midnight hours defend.

When in the sultry glebe I faint,
Or on the thirsty mountain pant;
To fertile vales and dewy meads
My weary, wand`ring steps He leads;

Joseph Addison was born this date (5/1/1672) at Milston (near Amesbury) Wiltshire, England.  He is also known for the hymn “Spacious Firmament on High.”
