E M Bounds was born this date, 8/15/1835 in Shelby Co, Missouri.  E. M. (Edward McKendree) Bounds was converted to Christ 1857.  He wrote Preacher and Prayer,

Bible Men of Prayer, Heaven a Place, a City, a Home.  He died 8/24/1913, at Washington, Georgia.
