Ludie Carrington Day Pickett – death, Mar. 1, 1953

Telling me still to fight on,

Ludie Carrington Day Pickett died this date, 3/1/1953. (Place of death unknown, burial was in Wilmore, Kentucky.)  Ludie Carrington Day was born 3/31/1867 at Bayou Tunica, Louisiana.  She taught at Asbury College and married L. L. (Leander Lycurgus) Pickett (the order of marriage and teaching is also unknown).  Mrs. Pickett wrote “Never Alone” on or before 1897.
