Who, though famous, is now quite dead.
He should have sought the Lord to know,
While he journeyed here below,
And should the prophets have read.

“Know thyself” reminds me of what a wise king inspired by the Holy Ghost said. “A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.” (Proverbs 18:2)
