HOPEFUL RAY
Life as we know it, will soon slip away;
Try to disown it – there comes a death day.
No one has successfully side-stepped death
All our forefathers ran out of life’s breath
Only God holds for us the Hopeful ray.

Translation Trouble – 2Co 5.17
AV “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
NASB – Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature ; the old things passed away ; behold, new things have come.
Omitting the powerful idea of “all”
removes a promise the sad sinner needs.

Why is “the cross” omitted? –
