Translation Trouble – 2Ti 2.15            

 

AV Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

 

NKJV – Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

 

Studying is not the same as being diligent – one can be diligent in other areas.  We NEED to study the AV.
