Translation Trouble – Mat 6.13

 

AV – “…lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.”

 

NIV – …lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. _____

 

 

They omitted “kingdom…power…glory”

 

these help deliver us from evil!
