Translation Trouble – Luk 4.4

AV “And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” 

ASV – And Jesus answered unto him, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone __________________.        

 

 

Why were these FINE words omitted?

 

Because the mis-translators were

 

omitting words and KNEW they were

 

not giving readers EVERY word of God?

 

Do I hear an “Amen”?
