Translation Trouble – Jam 5.16
AV “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed…”
NIV Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed…
Why has the NIV changed “faults” to
“sins”? Think. Who? What religious
system has people confessing their
sins to a man, instead of God? God
and God alone can forgive sins.
