Translation Trouble – Acts 3.26

AV “Unto you first God, having raised up his son Jesus, sent him to bless you…”

NIV When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to bless you…

Maybe it’s becoming apparent that there may be a scheme to de-face and de-emphasize the Lord Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God, who is also God, part of the Trinity. It could also seem that revisers are taking stabs at the virgin birth as well.
