Tolstoy – born

ON THIS DATE

Leo Tolstoy was born 9/9/1828, at Yasnaya Polyana, Tula Province, Russia.  He was a thinker, writer, a unique variety “Christian.”  He wrote the longest novel in the world War and Peace.  As you read about his life you admire some things and you question some things.  He died 11/20/1910 at Astapovo.
