Old man winter sounds fierce out there,
And the trees swing, their limbs all bear,
Its pretty cold, even for a hare.

Albert A Barr died 3/1/2009. He was born to Albert & Lillian (Turner) Barr, Meadville, PA, 5/1/1943. His father’s work for the military required frequent moves; Albert attended school in all 48 contingent states. This didn’t lend itself to learning & some teachers considered him limited – in reality he approached to or was genius. He started using computers when all he had was a row of toggle switches. He went on to learn two more computer languages & was fascinated by computer graphics. Art was one of his interests.
He married Miss Olen Christmas in his youth & they were blessed with Cindy, Allen & Phillip. Years after Sis. Olen died he married Mrs Sandy Price Miller, originally of Phoenix. Albert graduated from Anderson College & Clemson U (both in SC) with strength in the sciences & taught science 17 yrs at Hobe Sound.
He pastored & did evangelistic work in addition to teaching & doing art; did the art work for an entire book for Dr Dale Yocum. Few men could hold an audience like him whether teaching, doing a seminar, or being his transparent self in a camp or revival. Many of us loved, wept & laughed at his stories & loved him.
