Para. #5 (If this post interests you see others marked Para. #) If/when I present a positive KJB post with which you disagree, you 1) have a right to pass without reading it, 2) have a right to read and think about it before “chucking it in the can.” If you STRONGLY disagree you have a right to POST the supposed “glories” of your translation. It would be nicer if you did, instead of using mine to belittle the KJB. It seems now may be the time to state that as the “owner” of my posts, I will feel free to REMOVE comments which seem too contentious, are belittling, or Are improper. Blessings, eab

Para. #4 (If this post interests you see others marked Para. #) My simple posts are aimed at TRUTH. If I cannot help those of you devoted to the newer, lesser bibles I am sorry. If I can help a Bible college student here, a home school mom there, a bewildered dad, some senior saint to see (or see again) the Beauty of the KJB and anchor (or re-anchor) their hopes on this Classic English Bible then I will be happy. I do not have to “win” an argument with any anti-KJB person. My sincere goal is to make it to heaven myself (it is a closer walk than some think) and to influence fb, Separateholy, and Google+ friends into that Beautiful City.

Para. #3 (If this post interests you see others marked Para. #) Lord willing I will continue to post from time to time (as in the past) thoughts or comparisons, ect. about God’s preserved (Psa 12.6-7) Word. Sadly, there are people among my 100’s of fb Friends, who have made up their minds to use, preach from, “push” what they call bibles. These substitutes are books of lesser quality from a literary stand point, books of fewer words (whole verses missing) from a quantity stand point, and books which are (truth be known) friendly to some stances of the catholic system. This last sentence is much more important than some imagine. Time will tell.

Para. #2 (If this post interests you see others marked Para. #) Across years I became more aware of the serious fight against this Classic. I researched background behind the formation of the KJB. I researched background behind some of the opponents of It. The battle began to dawn on me. Though I studied both Greek and Hebrew as part of my MA in Biblical Lit I am not a “scholar.” I fear some who oppose the KJB on “scholarship” are fooled: fooled in some cases, thinking their language grasp is greater than it is and fooled perhaps in other cases by believing earlier supposed “scholars” with their agendas. Pride of “scholarship” can make one (or one committee) think he/it knows more than the 47 true scholars who devoted 4 yrs of their life to bring the KJB to life.

Para. #1 (If this post interests you see others marked Para. #) I AM A SUPPORTER OF THE KING JAMES BIBLE. It is the only Bible I daily read. It is the only Bible I used for the few verses I have memorized. It is the only Bible from which I have taught (20+yrs) and preached (28+yrs). I love It. I do not recall when I first heard of the anti-KJB rebellion but it was, for me, a distant battle. My B A is in Lit.; I accepted the KJB as Great Literature. It is the Greatest Book in the English language. Period. There is a place for Milton, Bunyan, and other writers of classics but no prose, no poetry, compares in chronological coverage, breadth of literary genre, nor lilt of the tongue to the KJB, the CLASSIC of all classic Books.
