He did not buy/build it

A boy with his first car (especially if it’s a gift) may squeal tires and race it.

A preacher with first church (built by someone else) can “squeal tires” and hurt it.

But one who paid for his first car, or built (rebuilt) his first church is more careful.

OT? Yes; Joseph was 2^nd man, Mordecai was 2^nd man, Daniel was 2^nd man – all OT, all Jewish

(another of several huge contrasts between the Testaments).
