“…Christ left a will…His soul to His Father, His body to Joseph…
His clothes to the soldiers…but to His disciples…His peace.”
Matthew Henry – Quoted by Thomas Cook in his book New Testament Holiness
He did not buy/build it

A boy with his first car (especially if it’s a gift) may squeal tires and race it.
A preacher with first church (built by someone else) can “squeal tires” and hurt it.
But one who paid for his first car, or built (rebuilt) his first church is more careful.

NEVER SAY “NEVER”

Don’t ever be so clever
As to tell God “never.”
He has the right-sized lever
To pry you into place.
But – if you insist on “no,”
God will HIS wisdom show
Letting you go below.
Sadly, it will be your place.
