“…We must unlearn what the spirit of the world has taught us…
yet [the] greater part of Christians live and die
slaves to the customs and temper of the world.”
– William Law, from his book, Serious Call…

Watch out for acclaim

We are tempted to feel good when the world “honors” one of our own. We should more likely fear.
Fear for HIS soul – acclaim has claimed too many hearts. And fear that WE tried to see this as a positive,
God help me, God help you.

You’re old?

You’re old? “It’s in your head,”
Methuselah might have said,
Who lived nine centuries, sixty-nine.
Your age is a fraction of that line.
His age, though quite large to us,
Was neither a minus nor a plus
To God, our illustrious Ancient of Days,
Who’s lived forever, yet is young – always.

Are You Anti-KJB? WHY?
Posted in uncategorized, tagged Are You Anti-KJB? WHY? on January 24, 2016| Leave a Comment »
There IS a reason why you are anti-KJB.
You, for the sake of your soul and the souls you influence (they know your distain for the King James Bible), owe it to yourself to identify THAT reason.
Many times it goes back to a parent, pastor, professor – few of you have studied the background of the Classic KJB for yourself.
I challenge you to read about, to see “you tubes” of Its history, and to read It for yourself.
It is not that difficult. It will increase your vocabulary. It will deepen your walk with Christ.
