Is church now better?

Pastor friend or one who used to pastor*

If after you leave the church (all “fill the pulpit” – ALL leave, sooner or later), if the church does as well or better than it did,

it indicates you were able to point them beyond yourself to Christ. Wonderful!

Who Is Center?

 

The center of entertainment is man – in song or word.

The center of Worship (strong contrast) is the risen Lord!

Man wants to be seen, wants to be heard;

God is second, if at all.

But worship’s the high goal

Of the worshipping soul.

Silence is NOT approval

If you choose to live a sinful life, I respect your “right to do wrong,” similarly to what Christ does.

Moreover, as a follower of Christ, I can no more approve of or help you sin, than Christ would.

And – – – do not take my silence as approval; I may be silently grieving or silently praying that you will change.
