Getting beyond “hell”

Many of us were converted (at least in part) because of a fear of hell.  Christian maturity moves beyond this to a Love for, and Fascination with, the Persons of the Trinity, an deep admiration of God, and a desire to be comfortable (though so unworthy) in His presence now, and by-His-grace, forever.

Pagan named

Planets were named after pagan gods.

That’s a tricky way to get unsuspecting souls who don’t worshiper them to look up (literally) and repeat the names of these supposed deities. (“Planets” in 2Ki 23.5, “Jupiter” & “Mercurius” [Mercury] in Act 14.12, and “Mars” [as Mar’s hill] in Act 17.22, are clearly objects of idolatry.)

“Scientists” have purposely used heathen names.
