“And the serpent said unto the woman, ‘Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and

ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.’”

God has allowed the devil limited access (in this world) to our minds to tempt us.

But thanks be to God, He has also left Himself a direct access to our minds through dreams.

Though I give my life at a faster pace,

For Christian education,

Thus causing my wife to need additional grace.

For our financial situation,

Though I yearn for right in the books of youth,

Strong character building,

And spend night and day in proof of truth,

Pursuing, never yielding,

Though I write and read, preparing and teaching,

Properly being critical,

If I do not take heed to my own “preaching”

My life is hypocritical.

“And God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…’”

(Gen 1.26). His wonderful image includes the will (which He’d just exercised). Some men (so unsure of the sovereignty of God) fear to admit man has a will; afraid it will detract from God’s sovereignty. How foolish.

God is not insecure in His sovereignty. He has it to spare, and shares it with the simplest and wisest of men. We prove our simple-ness or wise-ness by HOW we implement this illustrious God-given gift.
