It should surprise no one when a Christian is anti-war. “For God hath not called us unto uncleanness but unto holiness” 1Th 4.7. What is more unclean than war? Dust mushrooming, mud on boots, blood flowing-dried, forest/crops burned, buildings blown up. Add to this the fornicating semen soldiers spread: only God knows the number of ½ German, ½ Japanese, ½ Vietnamese babies born/aborted. War is UNCLEAN! What should surprise is the number of evangelical/holiness people blind to  false  patriotism, spiffy uniforms, and media-induced-hatred for “the enemy” (maybe friends the last war!) who want to kill enemy sinners.

Without faith we’ll never see Him

Who died our souls to bless.

It’s Faith! Not I hope so, or I guess.
