“The Book of God is like a beautiful garden where all the flowers grow upon the same soil and are watered from the same heaven but
each has its own unique colors, forms, fragrance, and incivility.”
– A B Simpson, from his book Holy Spirit
Christ is attractive
Posted in uncategorized, tagged Christ is attractive on March 15, 2016| Leave a Comment »
Christ said, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me” (Joh 12.32).
He did NOT say a church be “lifted up,” nor American culture be “lifted up,” nor some “prophet.”
Truth seekers are attracted to Christ. Sadly, many never are converted b-u-t His Holiness, His Manliness, His Godliness, His Death and HIS glorious Resurrection are all attractive!

BOY MEETS GIRL

Boy meet girl, thinks he loves her
And finds her so very sweet.
Girls meets this boy, sees great traits
Finds him impossible to beat.
2
They walk, they sing, they talk, and things ring
In their ears like a wedding bell
One day he finally asks, “Will you marry me”
She says, “My answer’s ‘Yes,’ could you tell?”
3
Then on to life, living together
Each for the other and for the Lord.
Raising a family for His glory
Disciplined by His great Word.
4
Oh, God’s plan has again
Been fulfilled on the earth.
Man has a good wife and
T-o-g-e-t-h-e-r there’s more worth.

Envy has to go
Posted in uncategorized, tagged Envy has to go on March 15, 2016| Leave a Comment »
Earth has had a “pecking order.”
We’ve know since youth that So-n-So was richer/poorer, smarter/“dumber,” better/worse looking than we were. Will the next worlds have such? If they do, Hell may have them exaggerated to the point of exasperation. Heaven? Being filled with perfect love will allow us to be perfectly happy for saint “X” in his larger mansion without a bit of envy.
(BTW we can get rid of all envy now with OUR own personal Pentecost.)
