ADVENT OF SPRING

ADVENT OF SPRING

The grass has taken a turn for the greener,

And the daffodils have turned up in form.

The crocus is its beautiful self,

And forsythias no longer mourn.

The air is warm with that kind of aire,

That promises a bright tomorrow,

While the frogs in the bogs croak up a tune,

They surely didn’t borrow.

Birds on wing, jubilantly sing,

*Driving tip *

If you’re in the fast lane (left on 4 lane, extreme left on multiple lane) and the road ahead has no cars for some distance, please check your rearview mirror. (Good drivers do this every few seconds. 🙂 ) If you’re rearview shows a semi-grill, or has someone with headlights high, then low, then high, you should move to the right – – – NOW.  There’s a little level under the left side of steering wheels which, if you push toward the windshield, will turn on lights showing you plan to move to a slower lane. Even if you aren’t looking at a huge grill or glaring headlights but see one, two, three, cars wanting the fast lane please move to the right.  On 2 lane roads when your mirror reveals cars behind you (and you want to continue your “sight-seeing” pace) to find a wide place, pull off, and let them pass.

Hint – a slow driver in the left lane is not only a trial of patience but is dangerous.  Be Considerate!
