“How much better to be possessors of the Maker of gold and silver
instead of the metal!”
– Martin Wells Knapp, from his book Christ Crowned Within
Do You Oppose Cults?

Is one FULLY convinced of Christ and His amble provisions IF he never opposes false religions?
Is he afraid to oppose the catholic system, tongues churches, etc.?
Is his silence a sign Christ is just one of his many “lucky charms”? Christ IS the Answer, All-By-Himself.
If we love Him we oppose all that He opposed and opposes. Amen? – Ouch?

WALKING

WALKING [1]
A bum sauntered by mumbling to himself.
A child skipped by, whispering like an elf.
A businessman strode by boasting to his friend.
Then two socialites pranced by – patter without end.
The paper-boy trod by slurring his chant.
A cabby stomped by, in a wild rant.
A soldier paraded by teasing his girl;
While a baby toddled by; its sounds awhirl.
Witnessed this, as I stood by, in a train station,
Waiting to go bye-bye, to my destination.

Driving Desire?
Posted in uncategorized, tagged Driving Desire? on April 16, 2016| Leave a Comment »
At some point everyman
who’s heard of Christ has had a desire to be like Christ. (“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me” Joh 12.32.) With many, sadly, it was but a passing desire but with a few that hunger became the driving passion of life. Is it Friend, the deepest desire of your life (and mine) to be like our Lord?
That is a SERIOUS question.
