Rev 21. 4 – 5

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

“And he that sat upon the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And he said unto me, ‘Write: for these words are true and faithful.’”

“God’s Word declares that a righteous person is like a tree.

A tree lives in two realms of nature; it lives in the earth and it lives above the earth.”

Sinners in hell (later “lake of fire,” Rev 20.14-15) have memory as the rich man of whom Christ told (Luk 16.25). They’ll possibly remember ever detail of the chances they rejected to become Believers in Christ.

Heaven is a magnificent, joyous place, in wonderful contrast to hell. Does this suggest heaven will have no earthly memories? If so, it helps explain “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes…”(Rev 21.4).

If you’re looking for signs and wonders they can be found.

If you’re looking for Holy Words, thank God, Bibles abound.

Words are less flashy, less fleshly, lower key;

Signs appeal to the eye – we live in an “age of imagery.”

Scripture warns against the image, the statue, the idol;

(Unless activated by satan, such are always idle.)

These are easily used, easily changed to the eye deceive.

Words require the mind – thinking – are harder to receive.

Flee the visual, loud, presentations i.e. ritual gone wild.

God spoke to Elijah in His timing; His words were mild.

The greatest dividing line in the world

is not between races, colors or cultures. The greatest dividing line is not between the sexes or age groups.

The greatest dividing line is between Saints and Sinners and unlike the above lines it is crossable. This line is crossable because of the Cross. Once a Sinner – by choice – you can become a Saint – by the blood of Christ and your choice. (And once a Saint you can return to being a Sinner again – by choice.)

The devil will say you can’t cross this line (he is a liar, Joh 8.44) but the Almighty God says you can. 🙂
