Is there a Biblical basis for what is labeled “Drama”?

Drama centers around an image or images. It has its roots in heathen Greece. (Remember in the OT, Greeks were opposite the Hebrews.) Why have modern Christian colleges and churches embraced drama? It lacks any precedent in the NT. By sharp contrast, it is rooted in the pagan world. Pastors, college presidents, and others need to pray about unplugging their involvement with this very worldly “art form.”

What a disgrace it would be if some future idol of hollywood’s screen would get his/her “start” in a Christian institution.
