God never told a single prophet to be “funny.” Nor did He advise one apostle to “make it humorous.” Joy is much higher than fun; they’re wrongly assumed too related. Some “funny” people are sad (commit suicide), while some truly joyous people appear solemn – but are not devoid of humor. (Too many preachers, even holiness ones, called to be “proclaimers,” try to be entertainers.)

God may want you to change

Various readers see posts differently or visualize eab this/that.

I wish on some posts you’d see me as a concerned Dad (dad 4 times) or a concerned Gramp (“Gramp” to 18 grandkids). In spite of my imperfect head and several mistakes God’s permitted me to teach 21 yrs (7 countries) and with overlap, pastor/assoc. past. 32 yrs (preached 10 countries). Reader, contemplate allowing a post to sit hourS or overnight before responding. It could be (in spite of your initial disagreement) that there IS a truth here about which you need to think/pray.

God may have allowed “said” post to cross your path – – – On Purpose – – – Today! 🙂
