1Ti 6. 10

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after,

they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

“Love of money is probably more responsible for modern wars

than any other one cause…the blood of many being shed to enrich a few.”

The saint will enjoy God forever (“Man’s chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever” -Westminster). And the sinner will be eternally aware of Him. Even now on earth, no man is able to 100% ignore God. “Atheists” are most vocally trying to ignore God and they are most miserably failing. Their failure will be worse in eternity.

Evolutionists believe

Christians believe the BIG “C”- Creator.

God is greater than that Name!

Evolutionists believe in some little “e”-evolution,

A fate, a myth of shame!

Evolutionists believe II

Evolutionists believe IN

What they think is gradual change;

Because, if they believed IN

God, they would have to change.

Have you noticed the Magic associated with a sinner’s Christmas?

There’s the Magic of a fat guy coming down a skinny chimney. The Magic of him not getting burned though the fireplace is lit. The Magic of how he got to the top of the chimney (Was this the beginning of moderns “love affair with space”?) “deer that fly”- if that’s not enough, one has a nose that “lights up.” The Magic of “elves” who help this fat guy make toys. Oh, such cheap substitutes for the WONDERFUL MIRACLE of God becoming Man. They are distractions from the Solemnity of Christ’s Birth.

Please, Christians, leave Magic with its owner, satan.

Real

*Past Poems Celebrating the Birth of Christ*

REAL

If you could create your own Jesus,

To suit your political taste,

You might have Him born “like a king,”

And not in a manger, near waste.

 2

You might have His step-dad a merchant,

Perhaps owning part of the bank,

So Jesus could have lots of funds,

And thus dress a little more swank.

 3

You might change the scene at the temple,

(At twelve He confounded the docs.)

Pretend that He birds made-on-wing,

By merrily tossing up rocks.

 4

You might have Him coddling the preachers,

Intent on their legalist brew,

(But He called them hypocrites – Wow,

No wonder they “bit nails in two.”)

 5

Your special “new Jesus,” your dream one,

Might skip all Golgotha’s cold loss,

He’d be a warm “pattern,” and teach,

Avoiding the grave and the cross.

 6

A Christ so political saves none.

All sinners would die in their sin.

Thank God for His Son, who is real,

Not something created by men.

 7

The real Christ died once for all sinners,

Arose He then, Victor, not dead.

He’s coming again, now to rule.

It’s just like they [1] said that He said.

                        ~ o ~

Amen ─ and Amen, once again!
