Red Sea

Not all obstacles to your walk with God are devilish. Some are relational (be very careful of who is “in” your life). Some are occupational (change jobs if you need to, to go to heaven). Some are geographical. (List could go one.) The Red Sea was in Moses’ way but it was definitely not devilish. The devil did not make the Red Sea, he did not make it beautiful, and he has not preserved it.

50 years ago

50 years ago –

Yours truly was a senior in college (having “successfully” crammed 4 yrs into 6 🙂 ), was working full-time at Inter-Chemical Corporation down town Cincy, we were between cars (my 57 VW had been wrecked – I rented a Corvair from Jim Booher for some weeks, we were attending Bro John Dorsey’s church “Mt Carmel” AND  T O D A Y  the Lord blessed us with a second son, Lincoln. For about 6.5 yrs I had worked for A&P, part-time and without insurance. Inter-Chem hired me just four days before Lincoln was born but as they had full coverage for all employees our delivery costs was covered. God was surely in that! HAPPY BD, SON. Blessings today and all of the days you are 50! Moma and Dad
