“Methodists and Baptists may not agree but they agree
that the Bible is true, whatever it says.”

Spoke-heard, Written-read words

Jesus Christ could have “ministered”* by painting the most beautiful pictures imaginable – He did not. Jesus Christ could have “ministered”* by sculpturing Master pieces (with a capital “M”) from stone – He did not. Jesus Christ could have “ministered”* by using puppets – He did not. Jesus Christ could have “ministered”* by “hologram” – He did not. He was/is the Eternal Word. He knew the power of spoke-heard, written-read words and used this most excellent means of conveying truth. “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear” (Mar 4.23).

CHRIST

Every sinner who hears of a Sinless One,
Every father who hears God had a Son,
Every planner who hears Redemption is done,
Is drawn to Christ.
The only way to reach heaven’s door,
The only way to tread the golden “floor,”
The only way to enjoy Redemption and more,
Is through the blood of Christ.
Christ is the Key to heaven’s lock,
Christ is the pure Shepherd, of a pure flock,
Christ is the center of creation’s calendar and clock.
The only hope for all is Christ.

“Autobiography” of God

The Bible could be called (said with utmost respect) the Autobiography of God.
The Bible gives us glimpses of WHO He is. It shows the WHATs of His creation, redemption and many other details. The Bible allows us to see some of the WHEREs He has worked (past) and will yet work (future). It (mainly in sequential language) pictures the WHENs of God – very important in prophetic passages. And happily, the Bible gives us brief looks as to WHY God did this or that, or will do this or that.
What a thrilling, fulfilling Book about the greatest possible Being in all the world.
