Zero!

It is not for you and me to know the number of times we will be tempted before we die. (The number might scare us; God is keeping it a secret – I like it that way.) But I do know the EXACT number of times we will have to yield to temptation before death – Zero! Hallelujah! God is for us and satan can’t stop us, as we obey The Father.

Your body – soul had a mutual beginning

Somewhere in the womb.

And they’ll have a mutual separation

Just before the tomb.

The body will disintegrate

WHO do you meet in your prayer closet?

Is He the God of the Bible or (heaven forbid) some “god” of our current culture? WHAT is the reason you pray? Physical needs? Money needs? Sermon ideas? Fellowship? WHERE is your prayer closet? I don’t mean upstairs or down; is it (if you have more than one, are they) apart from the bustle and business of the world – apart from devilish distractions? WHEN do you go there? Would an honest answer be embarrassing? And WHY do you visit your prayer closet?

In reality, fellow pilgrims, we need more C.T. – more C. Closet T. Time!
