The most powerful thing you can do is pray – it needs no electric or gasoline “power.” Prayer can be experienced by the educated and the uneducated. It can be done alone, or in a group. And Prayer is always best when it is from the heart.

NOW

I was once your age,

On the ladder of life,

Climbing rung by happy rung,

Glimpsed what was “the rage,”

Sidestepped the strife,

Sang what was then sung.

Life has turned a page,

For me and my dear wife,

We are no longer “young,”

But we’re enjoying this stage

With its blessing so rife.

3

Blessing o’er head are hung.

Enjoy living, youth or sage.

Love each stage of your life!

Love the years you’re among.

have a wife who is equally serious about loving the world. Thank the Lord for women in this group who do not try to profess salvation AND love the world at the same time. (“…If any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him” 1Jo 2.15.) Some of these men are pastors or evangelists. It is far better that his wife not profess salvation (while being worldly) than that her worldliness sow confusion among the woman of the church.
