Looking unto Jesus

“Looking unto Jesus…” (Heb 12.2) is not looking unto people. Sinners will keep on sinning (“…wax worse and worse…” 2Ti 3.13). The very best of Saints will disappoint in one area or another. Christ is perfectly worthy of us following Him and He has made provision that we can follow Him perfectly.

What, friend, is your foundation?

That which you say you believe and preach

– are those beliefs based on the Bible? If so, are the verses clear to all or are they your “private interpretation”? If what you preach is not based on the Bible, in all honesty, upon what are they based? Obviously you do not have to tell me but, Friend, you own it to your never-dying-soul to ascertain the foundation of your beliefs or the lack of a viable foundation.
