“Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.”

Be Ye Thankful?

“Christmas in July” some have heard of the oddity. Allow me to suggest “Thanksgiving in Feb.” – & Mar. – & Apr. May, – you get the idea. Be thankful e-v-e-r-y-d-a-y. “What is there to be thankful for?” How limited the memory of one asking this question. Do you have sight? Can you smell? Do you hear? Can you taste? Do you have a sense of touch? Thank God. Some one asked a question like this: “What would you have today, if it were only that for which you thanked God yesterday?” Develop thankfulness.

TARES and WHEAT

The tares and wheat together grow;
At harvest time angels will know,
They’ll separate good from the bad
The tares to be burned, Oh, how sad
Are you wheat? Do you for Christ glow?

I beg you LOVE truth

Truth is either attractive to you
– – – or it is not! (Doubt any idea of neutrality.) If Truth attracts you, count your blessings! God is the source of Truth. If you are not attracted to Truth be alarmed, very alarmed. You’ve drunk too deeply of this age of lies. You’ve become comfortable with imitation. You’re allured by cheap sports, hollow games, and the false world of hollywood.
Pray for a love for Truth.
