Only two kingdoms

There are only two kingdoms: the Kingdom of God (past, present, future) and a kingdom of satan (recent past, temporary present, no long-range future). The Kingdom of God is exclusive – you can’t be in satan’s wannabe and in God’s eternal Kingdom at the same time. While breathing you may, by God’s mercy, move from the kingdom of satan to the Wonderful, totally opposite Kingdom. If you’re inclined God allows you to leave His Light Kingdom and stupidly re-enter satan’s dark kingdom. One of the most damning theologies teaches you can be in both Kingdoms (i.e. be a child of God & yet sin). God wins; satan loses.

A WASTED LIFE

Beyond accountability

God gave a year or was it ten?

Ten years you stalled and did not yield

Fully knowing that sin was SIN.

One decade soon turned into two;

In sin you danced, ate, slept, and played.

God called you once, or was it twice?

You stayed on. On in sin you stayed.

You cursed and took His name in vain;

Sin had you in a vise-grip hold.

There were few things you wouldn’t do;

Filthiness was common and bold.

Four decades, make that five, now six,

Deep inside you knew you were wrong,

Unholy habits held you chained.

Who knew they’d ever be that strong?

“I’ll quit when I want to,” sounds good;

It’s not honest – you were enslaved.

The man who once attended church

Do you know how, now, to be saved?

Age has mounted up in your life;

The “big C” is now on your chart,

(Things begin to look uncertain)

Or was it trouble with your heart?

Fun has vanished out the back door;

Years of folly pass by your eyes.

Is this how my dirty years end?

Death’s at the door, you realize.

If you hear God’s slightest whisper,

Jump to answer, grasp His blest call.

Deserve mercy? None of us do.

Yield to the One Who died for all.

May God hear you from your death bed

And grant you a last-minuet-birth.

Modified with Christ

You are the center of your world.

(All relatives & neighbors are centers of their worlds.) On one side are parents, grandparents, great grandparents – you are center – on the other are children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. Before is tomorrow – you are center – behind is yesterday. When you face north to the right is east – you are center – to the left is west. Above is “your up” – you are center – below is “your down.” This is modified by the New Birth (Joh 3.7 “…Ye must be born again.”) as we enter with Him, the perfect centeredness offered by Christ.

We still have the above physically but now have His spiritual dimension.
