“…the Father is the invisible of the Son but
the Son the visible of the Father.”
– Irenaeus, from his AGAINST HERESIES
Eternity

We have no idea what time yet holds for us. Let alone what eternity holds. Our only hope of “getting a handle” on time and on eternity is a careful reading of the ageless, classic Bible.

You have a possibility that satan (as powerful as he is) does not have. You, by God’s great grace, can go to heaven. The devil, once in heaven, can never ever re-enter. (Hallelujah! 🙂 ) And he, try/tempt as he may, can NOT stop you from going to heaven. (Please dis-please the devil Today, Tomorrow, To eternity.)

“The LORD is our Judge” and He’s always right
“The LORD is our Lawgiver;” laws of comfort, not fright
“The LORD is our King” – He is absolute King
Absolute joyfulness His decisions soon bring
“He will save us,” guiding from darkness into light.

It WILL be worth it all!

Tonight (10:10), 2/26/12, My wife, our daughter Laura,
& I sang part of this to Mom, as she crossed lines of worlds.
It will be worth it all – by Esther Kerr Rusthoi
1.) Ofttimes the day seems long, our trials hard to bear, We’re tempted to complain, to murmur and despair; But Christ will soon appear to catch His Bride away, All tears forever over in God’s eternal day.
Chorus: It will be worth it all when we see Jesus, Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ; One glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase, So bravely run the race till we see Christ.
Ruth Evelyn Bryan was born 7/6/07 so lived to be 104 yrs., 7 mo. & 20 days. Mom was the last of six girls born to Andrew Barton Colwell and Venus Dominie Snyder. She was followed five yrs later by my favorite uncle, John.
She believed the truth of this song. So do my wife and I. Laura believes it also. I’m so glad she was there and as she is the most like “Grandma” of my kids and the grandkids it was fitting that she was with us.
2.) Sometimes the sky looks dark with not a ray of light, We’re tossed and driven on, no human help in sight; But there is one in heav’n who knows our deepest care, Let Jesus solve your problem, just go to Him in pray’r. [Chorus]
Mom had Trials.1) She could not finish high school due to sickness and helping her grandma. 2) Dad left Mom, married another woman, but when left her & God took him back, she (what a big heart) took Dad back too. 3) She saw her older son, only 17, come back in a box from boot camp. 4) She outlived Dad & both my sisters. I thank God for a Mom (she was always “Mom” to me) who loved God, prayed for & gave to missions, & lived for THIS TIME.
3.) Life’s day will soon be o’er, all storms forever past, We’ll cross the great divide to glory, safe at last; We’ll share the joys of heav’n – a harp, a home, a crown, The tempter will be banished, we’ll lay our burden down.
