To Dye before you Die?

It’s between you and God, I suppose, if you feel free to dye or bleach your hair or mustache. But you should know that to many you’re only fooling yourself – we can tell paces away that your hair color is artificial. Years ago I was waiting in Moscow for the evening train to another Russian city. It was a lovely January afternoon (yes, such occur in that northern clime) and as I was outside the train station I saw a female perhaps a block away with red-to-orange hair “glaring” in the bright sunlight. Humorous, but not authentic. There’s probably a better use for your hard-earned-cash than bottled coloring. Think about it.

Gave his day his best

A laborer does his daily deed
To plant, to water, perhaps to weed.
He works right up till dark
Then leave’s the field to take his rest
Knowing he gave his day his best.
His hoe had faithfully found its mark.
And as his body’s enveloped in sod
Gladly leaves the results with God
Happy to have worked, “happy as a lark.”
