“The weak points in a strong man are more liable to be copied
than the strong ones…”

Limitations

The person who is “perfect” (or thinks he is L) can be hard on us who are imperfect in head or hand. By happy contrast God is ALL PERFECT (and provides for mere mortals a perfect heart – motive by motive) yet is patience with our human (head/hand) limitations. Thank. You. Jesus.

Jesus guide and guard

Jesus, guide our daughter as she comes today,
Up this aisle to give her heart away.
Guide her to be the wife she most wants to be,
As they together start this family.
2
And Jesus grant that they, may be
So very close to Thee,
Both now in time and for eternity.
And Jesus grant the peace of doing all Your plan,
To this bride and her wedded man.
3
Jesus, give our son Thy great desire of heart,
He brings this union his so rightful part.
Give him a man’s firm step with tenderness too,
Bringing his home and hearth always to You.
4
Oh, Jesus guard this home, with love,
Straight from Your source above.
Fill them with all of You, Oh, heavenly Dove.
And Jesus guard their heads and hearts
As now they are one
As this man claims the wife he’s won.

Perhaps

Perhaps
(a sad thought) modern “holiness” churches and “Christian” colleges are comfortable with drama because we are ourselves “role playing.”
Are we acting or are we real?

Drama is not God’s best way

Please for the sake of your never-dying-soul
do not anger God with man’s “drama, etc.” God is not humored by our choosing to entertain church goers – He wants them to meet Him and feed on His Word – you offer chaff and a laugh.
God does NOT think it’s funny.
