Ante-Nicene Quote
“…sun and the moon and the rest of the starry Choir – absurdly imagining these, which are but instruments for measuring time, to be gods…”
– Clement, EXHORTATION TO THE HEATHEN
Earth for many, has been a place to make a name for themselves via businesses or dishonorable “entertainment business.” Seeing their name in the lights made their day. Hell may be a place where no “name” is known, where there’s no “pecking-order,” where you won’t matter to any soul (they, if anything, wish you were NOT there), a place of being totally alone except for sounds, smells, sufferings. Will hell (and later lake of fire) be a place of being ignored forever?

They all make Sense
Color and texture and depth and size
We own by medium of our eyes.
Pitch and volume and discord we hear
By the grand medium of the ear.
Salt and sour, bitter and sweet
The tongue well performs this useful feat.
New-mown grass, freshly turned dirt, man knows
And the scent of the sea, all via the nose.
We feel the insect land on the hand.
Isn’t the sense of touch something grand?

The “solid” which comes the nearest to being liquid is probably sand. Sand, though solid (remember one grain in your shoe) acts somewhat liquid when worked on by wind, water or both. “Nearest” can be taken two ways: by this mobile characteristic and the fact that the Creator fringed sea after sea with sand – the solid which seeks its own level nearest water, which always seeks its own level.

“Christ does not propose to emancipate any person from the necessity of exercising his judgment in regard to his innocent appetites.”
– Daniel Steele, from his book LOVE ENTHRONED
Gen 1. 16
“And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and
the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”
A man of God praying in the Spirit, testifying with unction, or preaching with Holy Anointing has the other world power. When the Holy Ghost is missing men look for different power…something as “innocent” as power point or as far- out as the “drama” of pulsing lights and artificial “smoke.” These attract attention but are sadly part of this world. What a wicked exchange – losing heavenly power; replacing it with worldly power.
