Your Life + + + +

– eab after a post shows it’s not plagiarized. I believe God gives some ideas &/or helps me shape them. You may image eab as Eab = Emmanuel assisting bryan. A few readers doubt God’s behind certain posts. So if they are Bad, Blame Bryan (label would be BBB). J

YOUR LIFE

You cannot live another’s life,

Strive ever so hard, live ever so long,

You can never feel their pain, or sing their song.

You have your own terrific life to live,

Your own personal niche to fulfill.

Give it, Friend, all your ability

Give your life all your force, your free will.

He who gave you your life, loves you still!

He had a unique appearance – horse kicked him yrs earlier, putting a permanent “wrinkle” in his upper lip. He had, what was to me, a unique name Blaine – first of only 3-5 Blaines I’ve known. As a car lover, I noticed his unique 48 black, Ford business coup. The best thing I remember about Bro Haley was a unique (1st I heard) testimony at our Pilgrim Holiness Ch. Spoke of “Agreeing to disagree, agreeably.” I agree!

“…We should feel only pity to the sinner. If we are angry at the person as well as the fault, we sin.”

– John Wesley, quoted by – Warren McIntire, /Righteous Indignation/

Do you save “left-overs”? You should. What is left from the Lord’s Day meal can be served for supper on Tuesday or Wednesday. The same can be true for other periods which are 2-3 days apart. Or freeze servings for a week or month down the road. Tupperware (or the like) will keep these fine in frig or freezer without bad tastes. Wasted food (throwing leftovers out) is wasted money. “A dollar saved is a dollar earned” is still true.

Rev 1.7

“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”

If you’re a young man called of God to preach let me to give you advice about eye contact. Look a congregation in the eye. Look to the right, look to the left, look at those in the back, look at the people up front. Yes, some are easier to preach to than others but allow your gaze to encompass them all. I’ve been present when church corners (above eye level) got “preached at” & the center aisle was “hit something ferocious.” J Preach looking people in the eye.
