Glitz + + +

Think about gardening. (Planning, as elsewhere, is part of the “fun.”) Think about what you/your family like. (No point in raising eggplant – beautiful, shiny, purple, huge if nobody likes them.) Think about how much you can use fresh. Think about how you’ll preserve what you can’t eat: Canning (practical old method) Freezing (takes $ to keep frozen, what if electric goes off?) Drying (I’d like to learn more about it), Root cellaring. Now’s a time to dream.

Glitz

Off with the glory,

And on with the glitz;

That’s what happens,

When God’s not in our midst.

You can believe in “God” but your god not be the God of the Bible. You can believe there’s a satan but fail to see the satan the Bible describes. Read the Good Book looking for descriptions of good people & bad and descriptions of angels & devils. Particularly see the true God in His majesty & adore Him. And I urge you to see the terrible wickedness of satan & steer entirely away from him & his ilk.

Rev 1.19

“Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter”

Facebook is like attending a convention at which you know everybody, make that e-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y. There’s a wave to the right, a nod straight ahead, a smile to the left = likes. With a few you stop long enough to shake a hand, give a non-flirtation hug, exchange words of greeting & move on. It’s better than a convention: you didn’t have to fight for a parking spot, pay an entrance fee, or walk miles doing it. And you can be instantly home when you want to be. J
