Sinners are born blind. Being redeemed gives wonderful sight. To backslide is comparable to you placing a blindfold over your eyes. To apostatize is to gouge out your own eyes. God may, repeat /may/ allow a backslider mercy & he be able to remove his blindfold. The one who gouges out his eyes never sees again.

*M M M* Pray for a willingness to be M odest in personal appearance: men, women, youth. Pray for a willingness to be M oderate in car, home & vacation. (Just because you can make the payments is no sign it’s the right thing to do.) And pray for a willingness to M odel patience (in an impatient age), M odel purity (in an age of defilement) & a M odel holy demonstration (in an age of religious formality).

Now & then I see on social media a quote by Tozer (wish I’ heard him), Ravenhill (got to hear & meet him) or Wiersbe (got to meet & hear him) & I appreciate these. I see only a few quotes by holiness preachers: older Methodists, Nazarenes, Pilgrims, Salvationists, Wesleyan Methodists, etc. of early 1900’s. Is this because few men are reading Holiness Classics? Brothers, if you must read modern stuff, I beg, make every-other-book a meaty holiness one or about a holiness man. Read/underline. Read/pray. Read/quote.

*God or “science”* True science & its honest laborers glorify God & His word. False “science” & its collaborators seek to discredit God & His Word. Thinking parents are responsible to sort out which (science or “science”) is being presented to your child in text & film. This task is greatly enhanced when you daily study the Bible. Conversely, it is unmercifully muddled when your prime source is the state school, TV, & other liberal media.
