Drop Darwin + + + +

Don’t kick yourself that you’re not an evangelist (unless, of course, you’re a “Jonah” storming away from your assignment). We are not all talented the same. Once you are clearly Born Again & filled with the Holy Spirit, look until you find the “gift” or “talent” which is yours. Once known, do not shirk it, but definitely do not strive to use a gift that is not God-given to you.

Drop Darwin

We’re made by God, wonderful thought.

We did not come from some primeval “rot”

Swim through slime and slither up on land

To wiggle, crawl, and eventually stand.

We’re not the product of a Darwinian tale

Spun to sidestep God.

No. Man was created, endowed with a will

That could “cook up” such ilk and ill

And try to pretend, with the mind God gave,

That death is the end; the end is the grave.

Man, made in the image of the Highest mind

Lives on and on, as all atheists soon find

Once they are below sod.

In an commercial age there is an appeal

To items that are “hand-made;”

God though using a man and a maid

Is still the Author of you and your wife

Drop Darwin. Honor God – with all of your life.

The OT tells farmers to not yoke unlike animals together. Yet, God the most Powerful Being (we cannot imagine His Strength) is willing – aye, wanting to partner with us. God – man = the most unbalanced Duo possible, yet, many a God – man Duo has done much for His Kingdom. Are you linked to God?

T – Take

H – Honest

I – Inventory.

N – Now,

K – Know. – eab, 2/2/18

1Ti 2.9a

“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety…”

1Ti 2.9b

“…women…not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;”

Fiction writers, playwrights, & movie producers are small “gods.” They are “creators.” Their scenes & scripts suit their theologies & philosophies. They, in a sense, have taken God’s place. And, their theaters have, with too many, taken the place of God’s House. Stop. As a thinking sinner you should awaken to this usurpation of God’s place. As a professing “christian” you should never patronize them!
