Carnal people “love” their families but love themselves more (divorce, murder, feuds, lawsuits prove this). True Christians love their families but love Jesus Christ more – “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me” (Mat 10.37). This love for Christ has no ill actions toward the family but has prayers for their souls.

GOD WANTS TO SHARE

God deserves all praise, and glory,

He Who from celestial story,

Has always, always been there.

He deserves all honor and laud,

For He alone is forever God,

Inward, outward, and everywhere.

God is One and yet He is Three,

He has been so for eternity,

And wants you, His “forever” to share.

Convictions vs Bible teaching – What’s gained in popularity are not personal convictions but the warding-off of Bible Teachings by mis-naming them “personal convictions” Men/women have sidestepped clear concepts of separation from the world. “Well, if it’s your conviction to not do “X” fine – its not mine” and away they go. Friend I can’t urge you too carefully or too soon – Do not shrug off lines of demarcation by saying “It’s not my conviction.” As a meme I saw said “Eternity is a long time to be wrong.”

“It takes a man with knowledge to defy God.”

Bible schools tend to move toward increased emphasis on the “school” part of their name. They seek teachers from big-name colleges, seek texts used by more acknowledged schools, seek to be recognized, even accredited. “Bible,” the most important part of their name, is often diminished in quantity (hours required). The quality may suffer due to getting profs from seminaries which hold low views of inerrancy.

Mar 13.13

“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but

he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

He’s a wise man who takes time to set in black & white what he believes. Wiser yet is the man who places beside this list Scriptures which he believes verify his various stands. Neither is easy – both may be helpful. – eab, 10/8/17
