Rev 14.10

“The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God…and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:”

A worldly church, “evangelical” or “holiness,” tends to make the worldly attendee, comfortable. A church, of all walled-structures, should be a place we feel God. And no one, saint or sinner, (if he has the correct view of God) is 100% comfortable in the Presence of Perfection Personified Who is absolutely Eternal.

“It does not take a true Christian long to scent & detect the ‘wild gourd in the pot’.”

– George  Straub

It doesn’t matter a fillip * Folks, what your obit says. If you’re in heaven you’ll be so joyous in God’s presence, so enthralled with His beauty, so grateful for His mercy, you’ll have no interest (IMO) in the land you just escaped. If, (a huge IF) you could hear your obit, you might be embarrassed at praise coming your way which should’ve been given to Christ. And, heaven forbid, if you go below, hearing a “glowing” obit would simple add to your torment. *A 2-syllable word meaning “snap of your finger” (5-syllables)

Rain has its place

But sunshine is also nice

Variety: like sugar and spice.

Gen 1.16-17

“…God made…the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

“And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth”

God does not charge one dollar to be wirelessly, flawlessly, never-out-of-range, connected to Him. (Imagine that!) I wrote never-out-of-range then almost immediately realized we can “mobilize” to where we no longer get “reception.” If you’re willing to again come into range AND (please don’t take this lightly) God is merciful to give you a 2nd chance, you can again connect.

“Ignorance of the Holy Scriptures is the cause of all evils.

If we go unarmed to battle how can we escape.”

– Chrysostom

Connecting (modern media) with the world takes money. Connecting with God takes no money. We throw a lot of dollars at the “need” to be connected to save time. To be connected to God will take time, something we do not want to “spend.” – eab, 4/24/18
