Isa 57.15

“For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”

Eternity is coming! There is nothing you can do to stop it. Period. You might hasten it (being a daredevil or abusing your body) or you may hold it off a bit (healthy living) but you & I cannot stop it. Eternity is the most inevitable, Inevitable, ever.

“He sanctified you to make you a more fruitful Christian.”

What actors speak in film (made famous by media – hyped as “great” – therefore a “must” to see) is repeated by the audience as important. Sadly, those words were purposely placed there with an agenda – “scripts” don’t just happen. Some billionaire who wishes to change society, change the world for evil (but he’d say it is for “good” Isa 5.20) is leading the audience away from the Eternal Word of God & the really important Words of the Word are being ignored.

Pray

When you see by dress or walk

Or hear in loud, boisterous talk

An exhibition of carnal pride.

Pray for that girl or that “hulk”;

There’s a needy person inside.

Job 27.8

“For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?”

Authenticity: If you’re into songs of national origins (your nation/other) it’s probably best to hear one sung by a true patriot (not an actor). If you like songs of the south (bayou/plantation) it’s more enjoyable to hear a rendition by a voice rich in southern, native tones (not a wannabe). Without question, if you love the Lord, it’s only fair to Him & your faith to hear His praise sung by a person whose life resonates the truth which his mouth is portraying (not a compromiser). Please, Friend, for your soul’s sake, listen only to voices (live or recorded) which truly reflect the Savior – not a worldly “famous” or merely trained voice.

“The wars of Israel were the only ‘holy wars’ in history for they were the wars of God against the world of idols.”

Admittedly there are more important themes than some of my posts (& a myriad of other posts I see – – – but I digress. J) Hopefully the most important & those nearly as important are covered from time to time by eab posts. However, across 60(+) yrs of family/church/school/government observation, I’ve seen a truth here, a fact there, which some reader may have missed. Please allow a lesser than your “Top Ten Points” to be addressed occasionally – your neighbor, even your child, may benefit from that observation.
