Pro 22.7

“The rich ruleth over the poor, and

the borrower is servant to the lender.” [emphasis added]

If you can’t pay cash (or pay off the credit card in the next pay-cycle) don’t buy small items. “But we need it.” If you are a child of God He’s promised to supply all your need (Php 4.19). “Well, He hasn’t supplied this one.” Friend, check your status with God. He may be waiting for you to obey in an area where you’re “dragging-your-feet.” Or, He may have an answer-on-the-way & you need patience to wait.

“God has nothing to cover up but in every case has used languages to enlighten and

liberate the world of mankind.”

– A L Vess, fr his /Bible on Tongues/

When our Lord rose from Mt Olivet, He did it in His Human Body. Normally when a saint leaves earth he leaves his body here (except those two E-men: Enoch & Elijah). Christ took His Body with Him – I like that!

House or Home ?

A house may be built with boards and bricks

Masons and carpenters thus get their “kicks,”

But a home is built of love.

Materials (above) have their widths and lengths

Are know for their endurance and strengths,

But a home is built of love.

Houses, cute or crude, have their dimension

Answering to the architect’s imagination.

Houses may be short or tall

Behind country fence or cultured wall,

Be of some value, or cheaply made

Easy to defend or easy to invade,

But the best house is a tent compared

To the home love built, fitted and squared

That home made of love, love, love.

Mat 5.6

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness…”

Once money becomes your god, it’s like the True God, you can never have enough of it. You can replace “money” (above) with “sex” or “sports” or any other lesser “god.” We’re made to want more & more of the Real God or, if you insist on having a substitute “god,” more of it.

“It is almost taken for granted in the New Testament that Tribulation is the normal lot of Christians.”

– F F Bruce, /Book of Acts/

Jesus is the Word. He is the Divine Express of God. Jesus is not a Number – numbers have an inordinate influence in modernity. Jesus is not a musical Note – notes hold too much power over men. Jesus is not an Image – images have grown (not declined). Millions watch movies: Adoring, “Believing” in, Imitating in dress & speech, the falseness of hollywood imagery. Stop. Jesus is the Word. Please grasp these 4 words!
