2Co 5.17 + + + +

2Co 5.17

“…if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Polite society wants you to act nice, especially around them. Christ provides such a drastic change that you’re not just nice in public, but nice all the time! Oh, the Miracle of the New Birth!

– eab, 5/15/18

“Man’s departure from God was voluntary; his return must likewise be voluntary.”

– L D Wilcox, /Profiles in Wesleyan Theology/

Thousands of Hymns – I’m not given to exaggeration – have been written (English alone) across hundreds of years. Young & old, highly educated & not, males & females scratched words as they came from the Holy Spirit. (They weren’t Inspired as the Penmen of Scripture but they were inspired.) Some lived to see their poem(s) published, many did not. They wrote to glorify their Lord & Savior – they loved Him & made Him the center of their poetic piece. If you are not singing such Hymns you are the loser!

GOT IT?

Make sure the thing you most greatly crave

Is abundantly available beyond the grave.

– eab, 6/1/18

IN THE DIRT

You placed a seed in mere dirt,

It and water began to “flirt.”

The action unleashed the life inside,

A shoot went up; leaves began to divide,

Soon “fruit” is seen for the next little “squirt.”

All because you stuck a seed in dirt.

– eab, 6/1/18

Rev 1.3

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy,

and keep those things which are written therein.”

God wrote a Book. The most important skill IN THE WORLD is the ability to read that Book.  Secular “educationalists” have tried to hide God & they removed His Book from their “schools” (June 1963). The capacity to Read is crucial to knowing God & His Bible. Why are secular “educationalists” scared of God?

– eab, 6/1/18

“In Christ a person loses none of his individuality; rather he becomes the true self that God created him to be.”

– Andrew W Blackwood

God. You can believe in Him or not – He allows you that privilege. Your belief or lack of belief doesn’t change Him – – – but it drastically changes you.

– eab, 6/1/18
