2Pe 1.21 +

2Pe 1.21

“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:

but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

“With the deepest humility Christ should be credited

for all He does within the heart.”

– M W Knapp

Jer 10.11 Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not MADE the Heavens and the Earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these Heavens.

– God made Heaven, Earth, World # 24

“ ‘I can’t believe’ is simply a canting way of saying,

‘I won’t obey.’ ”

– M W Knapp

HEAVENLY RESPONSE

When God sees one leaning a little

Toward what’s right,

He sends a little more

Grace and gospel light.

– eab, 1/2/08

Exo 20.4

“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image…”

Those concerned with the environment list the years it takes garbage to deteriorate in a landfill.

In a similar way, the image you allow into your mind will be years before it’s gone. Matter of fact, it may never leave in this life & if you go to hell may be with you forever.

Stop “inviting” hollywood/disney to dump its garbage into your mind.

– eab, 1/2/19

“High eating & drinking, fine clothes, & fine houses…

do all of them naturally hurt & disorder our hearts…”

– Wm. Law, /Serious Call…/

You promised “Till death do us part…” but you’re apart & neither died. Why? “He, blah, blah…” “She did…” Wait – wait, what about Love. You’re apart & think yourself happier that you are. Do I smell selfishness? God doesn’t orchestrate divorce. The enemy of our souls is also the enemy of our homes. Pray. Make that apology (it’ll take all the manhood/womanhood you possess but you can do it). Eat your past, harsh words. Ask God to renew your love. Put that home back together. “Impossible!” It. Is. Not. “For with God nothing shall be impossible”(Luk 1.37)

– eab, 1/2/19

“Prayer is the nearest approach to God &

the highest enjoyment of him that we are capable of in this life.”

– Wm. Law, /Serious Call…/
