Rev 5.12 +

Rev 5.12

“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power &

riches & wisdom & strength & honor & glory & blessing.”

“The soul of man has been perverted-turned from God to sin & death.

It is to be converted-turned from sin & death to God & life eternal.”

– Adam Clarke, /Christian Theology/

Rev 4.11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. – God made Heaven, Earth, World # 41

“Antinomianism…supposing that because Christ has been obedient unto death,

there is no necessity of our obedience to his righteous commandments.”

– Adam Clarke, /Christian Theology/

Ever received at Christmas

A box surprisingly light?

It seemed it might be empty

When you looked inside ─ you were right.

Except for a piece of paper,

Its cavernous space was hollow,

Directions or “a promise” the

Giver expected you to “swallow.”

Some folks lives are hollow,

Shallow, empty, weighing light

They need Jesus to fix them,

Wrong needs replaced by right.

Friend is your life “on empty”

Running, but-barely, on short supply?

Are you grasping at earthly straws

Waiting, yet dreading to die?

Let Jesus fill your hollow life,

Fill it with purpose and song.

You too can shine and you can shout,

Now – – – and Eternally long.

Joh 8.11

“She said, ‘No man, Lord.’

And Jesus said unto her, ‘Neither do I condemn thee: go & sin no more’.”

Why immodest wedding dresses? Why does a holiness dad pay for what preachers used to call a “peek-a-boo” dress? Why does a holiness mom allow her (hopefully virgin) daughter reveal more of her body on wedding day than she did growing up? (Many times the groom doesn’t see the dress ahead of time & has no “say” in how modest/immodest it is.) If bride is living at home & dad/mom approve the dress they (along with her) are responsible before God for the skin she shows. Stop following satan’s fads. Put your daughter in a dress that is sweet, feminine, AND modest. You are making a statement at the wedding! – eab, 2/7/19

“…John the Baptist was undoubtedly perfect

according to his own dispensation.”

– John Fletcher, /Works 2/

God is as serious about adultery as He is about stealing or murder. We can be forgiven of all 3 but we are to “…Go & sin no more”(Joh 8.11). Hopefully no pastor will knowingly have a song leader who’s currently “making a living” as a hit man (killing people). Yet some pastor may have a song leader/S.S. teacher/board member who’s married to his second mate (therefore living in adultery) while a first mate still lives. – eab, 2/8/19

“None make so much use of Christ’s blood

as perfect Christians.”

– John Fletcher, /Works 2/
