Ancient of days
The oldest thing we earthly know,
Was once as young as falling snow.
Ancient hills were once fresh dirt;
Your coat was once a lone, sheep’s “shirt.”
All we know had a launching day.
A point beyond which it had no sway.
All except for our glorious, great God,
He alone precedes sky, sea, and sod.

Jude 24

to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.”
Pastor – if your goal is to make your church well-liked in the community, and if it’s your goal that you be well-like, then consider ball courts, or picnics, or other social outreaches similar to nominal churches. However, it should be your goal to make Jesus Loved & nothing will do that better than an on-fire worship services where He is in charge & you (like your congregation) are hushed or “hallelujahing” in His presence.

“Genuine prayer is never ‘good works,’ an exercise, or a pious attitude,
but it is always the prayer of a child to a Father.”
